Dolphin and whale watching trips can be life-changing experiences.
That is why so many people go on trips every year. Keeping whales and dolphins in Aquariums for our entertainment is wrong which is why OceanSee positively encourages you to go and see these amazing creatures in the wild ocean where they belong.
We offer a thrilling 2 hour tour on the speed boat which has 300 horse power. We take maximum 14 guests per trip to watch the whales and dolphins. This trip is for all kinds of people, ones who enjoy speed and adrenaline but who also enjoy nature and wildlife.
As the tour begins we go deep into the ocean to find as many marine life as possible. We also have lookouts who are looking for animals all day, they then inform us when they see some and we go to their location to offer you the best view. Our biologist will then explain about every species that we find on our trip. Catch the cool breeze of the ocean on your face, jump over the playful waves and enjoy the ride!
If you prefer to be more relaxed and enjoy some sightseeing of the coast we invite you to take a 3h trip with our VipDolphins catamaran.
During the first 100 minutes we ride into the ocean to find some dolphins and whales and after that you have the opportunity to enjoy views of the West coast of Funchal. You will be able to see Cabo Girão – The second highest sea cliff in the world and is the highest in Europe.
It rises up to 589 meters above sea level and has a transparent viewing platform, extending over the cliff. The views from it are stunning, peaceful and unforgettable. Also, during the summer we take a 20 min stop for a swim next to Fajãs do Cabo Girão. On the way back our biologist /guide will tell you all about the most popular places that we see on our trip. You just need to sit comfortably and enjoy your adventurous ride, leave all the rest to us! During our trips you can also have a swim with the dolphins and it’s totally free! There are some conditions that we must follow in order to protect you and the dolphins.
